We LOVE shooting here, itโs the perfect summer spot to capture warm, happy memories with your loved ones. LUCY โ 2027 Senior! โ๏ธ๐โจ
This session was pure magic. Sometimes the stars just align, and this was one of those days. Lucy was a natural, absolutely glowing inside and out, so much fun and super easy going! Her pup Bodie was the sweetest bundle of joy and the perfect sidekick addition to Lucy`s session!! Ohio finally showed up with some gorgeous warm weather and glowy golden light. We had wonderful "glowies and sparklies" โ IYKYK.
Lucy, you`re going to do such amazing things. Your heart for nursing and to help people is going to carry you so very far. Enjoy the heck out of your senior year!!!

It truly feels like just yesterday that I was taking photos of this sweet little guy when he was 2 weeks old.
I blink and my own children are so much older, but this feeling is magnified times a hundred when I see my clients after 6 months or a year! Little Oliver is the sweetest, most chill one year old who adores his big sister Cora! Watching him dig into the cake (especially after big sis helped to show him what to do) was hilarious and so much fun! Thank you L fam for another WONDERFUL session โ I truly enjoy every single moment I get to spend with all of you! So glad we waited for this gorgeous day after all the rain!!

MADILYN โ 2027 Senior! โ๏ธ๐โจ
I think this was the one evening out of a two week block that we had gorgeous light and no rain! Rest assured, we took advantage of it โ what a perfect shoot to have on such a wonderful night! Madilyn is amazing, beautiful inside and out. She`s wonderfully easy going, kind and down to earth, and super comfortable in front of the camera! We had such a fantastic time. Tell me Iโm wrong!!! The struggle is real. This summer and start of fall have been one of the craziest weather rollercoasters weโve had to navigate for awhile. I truly agonize over every rescheduling. I hate doing it. I usually wait until the last moment and leave it up to the client to move forward with shooting unless we have severe storm warnings or itโs truly pouring at our location. I really want the session to be relaxed with the best chance of beautiful photos! Sometimes the weather throws us curveballs and we roll with it! Never a dull moment!! Just know that Iโm thinking through all of the details. If the storm passes but itโs still sopping wet on the ground and the surfaces/structures at our location, we may have wet shoes, mud and sludge on clothing, hair wilting and makeup running, etc. Sometimes itโs still best to reschedule. Sometimes itโs fine!! Thanks to all of you wonderful people for bearing with your poor local photographers who are trying to make the best call. ๐คฃ๐คช๐ซฃโ๏ธ

Aspen โ Class of 2027!! ๐โจ
This session, which we`ve been looking forward to and planning for years, was WONDERFUL. And there is no one more deserving than Aspen! She`s the sweetest, most caring soul, simply gorgeous inside and out. It`s been so fun watching her grow up through my lens (from at least 10 years ago after I met her amazing mom while painting her furniture!!!). The world needs more humans like Aspen. Olivia โ Class of 2027!!
We are all born to do something uniquely meant for us. Some of us know from an early age, while some of us have no idea what we`re doing until age 30 or later (yep, that was me). Olivia has long had a passion for singing, acting, and musical theater and you can just see it in her confidence, the natural way she carries herself, and the passion that beams on her face as she talks about it! We started Ryan`s senior session at the pool last month, and finished up at the park on a day that the rain finally gave us a break! Ryan has such an easy going, good natured presence and I so enjoyed hanging out with him! You`d never guess that the mosquitos were fierce โ Ryan was such a good sport.

Sometimes Ohio gives us crazy weather. As photographers, we learn to play close attention and roll with it one way or the other. After torrential rains forced us to reschedule, we ended up with a perfect night for beautiful Briannaโs senior photos! This is another one that makes me emotional โ one of Audreyโs besties that weโve known since her birth and watched grow into a gorgeous, wonderful young woman. He makes me laugh โ and I mean, tear-wiping, gasping belly laughs โ so often, and itโs one of the things I love most about us. Day to day life can be lovely, sunny, fun, and exciting, but it can also hard, trying, discouraging, painful, challenging, and exhausting, and being able to laugh until you cry is a gift. It was so much fun capturing this beauty in my lens! She shares a name with my Elliana, which was so special to me โ it`s even spelled the same way! My Ellie and I were so tickled by that.
I was so grateful for an open night on my schedule and the perfect weather to wrap up Ellie`s senior year before she headed off to college. We had such a fun evening โ I so loved her laid back, down to earth, joyful presence. And what an amazing, bright future lays before her as a gymnast and a pre med student!! KEIRA โ 2027 Senior!! It was such a joy to photograph this beautiful soul โ gorgeous inside and out. She`s been a friend to my Audrey for many years โ it was always amazing to watch them battle through soccer games together! Warriors in their own right! (They were the Wildcats, but I digressโฆ)
Keira asked if we could do the first part of her session at her favorite bookstore โ um absolutely YES! I LOVE making senior sessions as personalized as they want to make them.
If I could go back and do my own senior photos, I would have died to shoot in a bookstore. It was so much fun including her favorite book into her photos! (I got to add it to my reading list too!)

I`m a little crunchy, a little outdoorsy, and an extroverted introvert (it`s a thing. I`m a people person and also love my quiet time to recharge!). I love Jesus, coffee, my yellow Labradors, and deep diving into finding more natural, healthy ways of living. When you love something as much as Ryan loves swimming, you can`t help but stop and take it all in, fully appreciating the passion. The second he jumped in, I could just feel it, the joy of being exactly in his element, and all was right with the world. It was electric, and I was so glad to be there to capture a glimpse into his world!
