I know how fast my own kids have grown… I have a graduating SENIOR this year, y`all. I feel like she just entered high school, but here we are… 2 months from graduating high school.

Our weather is almost ready, seniors!!! Just like it was for this perfect session with Ainsley – just perfect!! We had such an amazing time capturing her sweet, beautiful soul in my lens.

I absolutely loved this senior session with Elizabeth – I`ll never forget when we explored beautiful German Village in 30 degree weather on a day much like today – we had a blast!! (I want to shoot more in German Village, I just love it there)

I`ll forever love this senior session with Simon! We hiked all over the river bed at Highbanks Metro Park, found the best fishing spots (not really, but we faked it perfectly), enjoyed the gorgeous weather and nature. Thinking about senior photos? I had the absolute pleasure getting to know Amanda of @tobelovedphotography and capturing some updated headshots for her website. Amanda specializes in newborn and studio photography and she is fantastic! We had a blast wandering around uptown, playing frogger with the cars trying to get fun shots crossing the street, haha! Spring minis – two great location options! It’s almost time for warmer weather (help me out here, I know you`re just as desperate as I am to see the sun again!) and let me tell you, I’m ready. I’m also ready to wear short sleeves and take beautiful photos in green spaces with flowers and maybe… definitely… highland cows. YES. Also, baby goats, miniature donkeys, and maybe even bunnies! My first option is at Cooper`s Knoll Farm in Pataskala! My second option is at the always gorgeous Columbus Park of Roses. Two amazing options for spring mini sessions, no matter your aesthetic. When the snow melts and the rain stops, we go outside and shoot! We had the most wonderful session with Rowan at the most perfect location. There was no shortage of gorgeous murals and interesting spots to shoot in and Rowan was so much fun!! Their artistic spirit shone through in each shot and we had a blast! I LOVED meeting these sweet faces for the first time recently. The family was so much fun and the boys were angels. I mean, look at those adorable smiles!!!

I absolutely love our sessions with this beautiful family! I first met them in a prior extended family session and was so honored to be called upon to take Victoria`s newborn photos. Seeing how much their sweet girl has grown these past months is PRICELESS. I loved every minute of catch up time with Elizabeth and Mike!

There is something infinitely special about capturing these different stages of our kiddos lives. They will never be this age again, and each stage goes SO quickly. This rings true with my own kids continually. It`s such a joy for me to package these sessions into a figurative time capsule to look back on!

So much love for this session. Despite some roadblocks and mishaps surrounding the timing, all of it out of our control, it worked out perfectly in the end with all the family together in town for a very quick shoot – we were done in just over 30 minutes. But despite the biting cold, the crazy schedules and the eventful weekend, we captured these fun, beautiful, real moments that Martha and Jim and their wonderful family will treasure forever. These moments are what matter. The love we feel and remember when we look back at these memories with our dear ones.
