Fall Mini Sessions 2022 – Recap #2 {Columbus Ohio Photographer}

My face hurt after this weekend, but in the very best way. The GIGGLES! You might recognize a theme throughout my posts. I am truly so grateful for each of my clients. They are the BEST. The coolest part of my job is that most of my clients become friends, which makes it not even feel like a job! We share giggles and laughs, hugs, silly words and life news, letting the session be easy going and natural while we catch up on how the past months have gone, all while capturing real moments along the way. I so look forward to seeing how much the kiddos have grown since the last time, to hearing how they love school and what they will dress up as for Halloween. It’s catching up with old friends.

Fall Mini Sessions 2022 – Recap #1 {Columbus Ohio Photographer}

We had such an AMAZING turn out for fall mini’s this year that I have to make three separate posts to share all that I wanted to share! This is such a GOOD problem to have. I’m sure ya’ll are tired of hearing me say this, but I’ll continue saying it because it’s the TRUTH: I’m blessed beyond measure to have the most amazing clients, both new and returning. Sarah and I talk continually about how each session feels like catching up with old friends. I wouldn’t have it ANY other way. Enjoy a little glimpse into our first mini session weekend!

Russell Family 2022 {Columbus Ohio Family Photographer}

I am still in awe of the gorgeous colors that painted all of central Ohio this fall. Along with positively wonderful temperatures and weather, the fall season was perfect for us photographers!! This session was fantastic. The knock-knock jokes were on point with these sweet kiddos, and the giggles were contagious! I so enjoy every single session with this beautiful family. This year we got to meet Nana and Auntie, and we all had a wonderful session together.

Greenwood Family 2022 {Columbus Ohio Family Photographer}

On the day of this session, the air is crisp, the trees are turning the most beautiful hues of crimson and gold and orange, and the autumn sun glows perfectly in the golden hour before sunset. This is a time of year that I absolutely love to shoot in. The colors of the foliage have me in awe daily and the weather is perfect. Even better when I get to spend time with families like the Greenwoods! Our sessions are full of laughter and joy and I look forward to each and every one. Seeing the twinkle in Luke’s eyes when he talks about his latest favorite exotic moth (after Sarah mentioned a moth as big as her hand that she saw once!) and don’t even get started on the topic of Pokemon. Or to see Eve twirl with happiness in her favorite dance positions… there is nothing quite as fun as getting to know the families we shoot with! Thank you for a WONDERFUL evening traipsing through the woods – we enjoyed every minute!

Two Sweet Boys {Columbus Ohio Photographer}

It was so chilly on this beautiful morning when we met Sherri, Jessi, and the boys for a quick mini session!! They were such troopers despite the chill. We had a lovely walk, found some amazing painted rocks (one had a turtle, and another had Spider Man!!), counted many squirrels (at LEAST 8. Maybe more) and talked at length about doughnuts and poop, in no specific order. They are such sweet boys, and I love getting to see them grow year by year!! Thank you Sherri and Jessi, love our sessions with you!!
